I am always saying this. Always. People think I am not a real HURTS fan because this is one of my favourite songs ever. Not only by HURTS, but in general.
I still know how I listened to this in May 2010… I thought it’s kind of cool… but that’s it. Then I was in Croatia - like I am in every year - and I know that HURTS were on MTV Push. MTV Adria played this song every evening! At the same time of course. I showered myself after a long day at the beach, I listened to the song while I sat on the balcony and watched the sea’s waves. Everything stood still and I became so calm… from that moment I knew there was more to come. It sounds so cheesy and you will probably delete this off your blog because you want to post the picture, but I always get emotional when listening to the song. “Never give up. It’s such a wonderful life”… I thought it was just something to become popular for… but Theo’s right. Ah man. I always get emotional about this haha. 2010 was a really crazy year, so I am happy for this song. Otherwise I’d be only sad all the time without really working it out.
HURTS helped me. If I ever get the chance to hug Theo, I will tell him (and maybe that I run this wonderful blog with these wonderful followers and he should have a
tea gin tonic party with us! And little babies with me.)
Enough said. <3

Simple, but I love the song. Made by me. (no credit on it though because it was too simple to make…)

can we just appreciate this gif?
Theo Hutchcraft & Lana del Rey at the ECHO Awards 2013
She is someone we really admire. She is somebody we feel is at least on the same wavelength when it comes to what pop music should be.
We have a great respect for how she conducts her artistry so it would be fantastic. She is lovely. She is really something to be treasured. She said in an interview that she wants to make something her generation can be proud of and that’s lovely in a world where things can disintegrate very quickly. We do that with people like Bowie.”
